 Mary Free-Kindergarten Teacher
After completing my BA in Education in 1979 at Dr. Martin Luther College, I moved to Saginaw, MI to study and obtain my Michigan teaching certificate. I taught K-2 in Flint, MI for 2 years and K-4 in Benton Harbor, MI for 2 years.
In 1983, I married and moved to South Dakota where I subbed in our local Lutheran School and began a 24 year career as a private piano teacher. After raising four boys and spending some time in the real estate and photography industries, I returned to teaching Kindergarten in 2007. Children have always been my joy and I consider it a privilege to be able to return to the classroom.

Mrs. Burow - 3rd and 4th Grades
I attended Dr. Martin Luther College from 1984-1988 and received my bachelor's degree in elementary education. I have been teaching at St. Paul's Lutheran School for 19 years. My first year of teaching was first and second grade in Omaha, Nebraska. I received a call to St. Paul's to teach second, third, and fourth grade. I taught these grades for two years and have been teaching lower grade levels ever since. It is an honor and a privilege to teach the children of this congregation and share with them the truths of God's Word. Having graduated from St. Paul's in 1980, I know the importance of a quality Christian education. My prayer is that God continue to bless our work here as we expand and open our doors so many others in our community may hear the good news of salvation.
